God chooses to use the church, you and me, to display His wisdom to the world. This is His unstoppable plan for the earth. Our call is to listen, show up and take the risk of stepping out when He speaks.
The Promise Received in the Birth of the Church
The Holy Spirit is the power to do life God’s way, even when His plan seems to get in the way of ours. His way requires trust in the midst of difficult times. Will we serve Him or ourselves? Is our service of Him conditional? When we stop negotiating and allow God to be God in our lives, then we become free and begin to thrive. Listen in to this important word!
Who is in Control?
As suggested in the lyrics of the song “Oceans,” we often live with borders in our trust of God. Daniel challenges us to look at life’s experiences with an eternal perspective so that we can more easily relinquish control to Jesus.
Like a Rock
The desire of the church is to be what God created us to be. Darrell looks at the teaching of Jesus in Matthew 5-7 to outline how we can build on the “rock.”
Is There Not A Purpose?
Mark Twain said the two most important days in your life are when you are born and when you find out why. Darrell explores some important Biblical precepts which tell us that the answer to this question is found “In Christ.”
Fear: The Enemy of Faith (and adventures in silencing the inner critic)
Fear is the biggest enemy of our faith. Will we be among the many who know neither victory nor defeat? Or, will we resist the fearful inner critic, move into the arena and fan the flames of our gifts?
Unstoppable
In the same way the disciples were commissioned, we too are called to carry on the unstoppable message of grace for which Jesus laid his life down. He calls us to be “all in” and, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to finish what He began.
Power Evangelism
When God moves in power, the message of the gospel is authenticated, and we see “power evangelism” in action. With this in mind, it’s important to allow God to move through us in the lives of those He sends our way. Listen in and discover ways in which we can be naturally supernatural and move in “power evangelism.”

The Continuing Story
The Story of the church began in the book of Acts but is still being written today. In this sermon, Darrell exhorts us to learn to tell our personal story around the gospel and to bring that message to our neighborhoods and communities.
The Story Continues
In this baptismal service, Darrell shares the marvelous work of the Holy Spirit in the story of Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch. Philip ministers to the eunuch as he searches for God in the book of Isaiah. The story highlights the importance of faith and the picture of new life found in following the Lord in baptism.
The Art of Not-Evangelism
As we combined services with our Cambodian Vineyard and celebrated our various mission outreaches, Monira exhorted us to live wisely and make disciples. She encouraged us to make the hard choices of a wise foundation, and then to take the more relational approach of the “Art of Not-Evangelism.”
Believe
What we believe determines how we live our lives. The question for us is, “What do we believe about Jesus in light of the resurrection?"
Even So, Come
On this Palm Sunday 2016, consider the ways that Jesus continues to come to us when His Kingdom breaks in with mercy and compassion. "Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”
Awe!
Peter’s words pierced their hearts….and a deep sense of awe came upon them. Today, just as then, the Holy Spirit brings that same sense of awe. Let’s receive!
An Empowered Life
The scripture clearly teaches that every believer is in need of the daily infilling of the Holy Spirit in order to lead a fruitful, overcoming life in Christ. Daniel shares these scriptural texts with us as well as his personal experience. Listen in as he exhorts us all to receive from a loving Father who gives good gifts.
Worship & Prayer: Repentance
Listen-in as Monira exhorts us to ask God for the will to repent in our relationship with
Him and with each other, and in doing so, find reconciliation, unity, and love.
Questions to ask God while you’re praying:
- Is there anything in my life that I want to be in control of instead of letting Jesus be in charge of?
- Are there areas in my life where I need more faith or trust?
- Is God asking something of me that I fear I cannot do?
- Are there relationships I need to mend in my life?
- Father, would you teach us how to walk in love?
Goal Focus:
What steps do we need to take in order to have more involvement in our connect groups?
Going Where Love Takes You
Darrell reminds us that LOVE is the great motivator. In this week’s message, we are encouraged to take risks when we confront difficulties and to let the love of Jesus overflow from our lives.
Following in Nehemiah's Footsteps: The Power of One
Nehemiah displays for us an example of God’s work done in God’s way. Listen closely and let’s ask God to help us follow in the footsteps of this godly man.
Breaking the Spirit of Poverty
Fear of the future and of not having enough is an enemy of faith and keeps Jesus from being at the center. Darrell imparts some Biblical wisdom about sowing generosity and breaking that spirit of poverty.
For Such a Time As This
God has invited us to walk this journey with him. He has prearranged works for us to walk in and made a way in the midst of troubles. Be encouraged to take the journey as you were made “for such a time as this!”
