Alpha - Dinner & Discussion

  • Oasis Vineyard Church 1750 Carriage Square Taylorsville, UT 84119 US (map)

We believe everyone should have their chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions, and share their point of view.

This fall as a church, we’re diving into a church-wide focus on Alpha.

Come join us every Monday nights from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM for a free meal and safe conversation about some of life's most important questions.

What to Expect at Alpha

First up, there's food. Food has a way of bringing people together. It's no different at Alpha. Whether it's enjoying some desserts, a snack, or a whole meal together, it is a great way to build community and get to know each other.

There's a talk. The talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation. Generally thirty minutes long. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith?

Followed by discussion. Probably the most important part of any Alpha: is the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything. And there’s nothing you can’t say. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your perspective in an honest, friendly, and open environment.

Alpha Schedule

Over the eleven-week Alpha course, we’ll be covering the following topics:
